About Us

We are the Roller Derby Coalition of Leagues dedicated to promoting, preserving, and growing the banked track roller derby community since 2011.  The Roller Derby Coalition of Leagues (RDCL) was founded in the fall of 2011 by five banked track roller derby leagues: Arizona Derby Dames, Los Angeles Derby Dolls, Orange County Roller Girls, San Diego Derby Dolls, and Tilted Thunder Railbirds.  These five leagues came together to help support one another in the modern roller derby community, and to promote and grow the sport of women’s banked track roller derby.

Since then, the RDCL has grown to include South Side Roller Derby, Penn Jersey Roller Derby, Texas Roller Derby, and Deadly Rival Roller Derby. Together, we create and govern the rules of banked track roller derby to help support our mission of preservation and growth and also to ensure that modern day banked track derby game play is safe, fair, competitive, and, most importantly, fun to spectate and participate in.

Our Mission

Promote, Preserve, and Grow Banked Track Roller Derby.

How We Roll

The RDCL is run and operated all by volunteer committee members. We currently operate and oversee the rules and membership of the RDCL with the help and teamwork of four committees.
